Vivienne loves a good story. She started writing romance around the age of fifteen after a lucky find in a thrift store. She discovered a tattered, stripped copy of Only His by Elizabeth Lowell and shortly after inherited a box of 80’s and early 90’s romances. She devoured everything she could find: Regencies, British Harlequins, Westerns, Blaze Harlequins, Medievals, and a few contemporaries. Historicals were her first love, followed by stories with supernatural elements.
What makes Vivienne’s stories unique is her love of a sassy heroine who keeps the hero on his toes. She’s got a penchant for charming, redeemable rakes that drip sensuality from every pore. She also loves her alpha heroes.
When not embroiled in a book, Vivienne enjoys several pastimes: karaoke, astrology, making Artist Trading Cards, cooking, and socializing with friends. She loves Jane Austen, but not Jayne Eyre, Tess of the D’Urbevilles but not Age of Innocence. She loves Edward AND Jacob, except in the films where Jacob rules. And if she has to choose, it’s Damon over Stefan, though she’ll happily drool over Paul Wesley’s abs anytime.
Vivienne is an active member of Romance Divas, Romance Writers of America, Los Angeles Romance Authors, Indie Romance Ink, Passionate Ink, and several yahoo groups dedicated to romance. In 2009, she served on the board of LARA and in 2010, she was Vice President of ESPAN.
